Christmas cake

Not sure if this should just be in snug

move it if you think it should Bc Wench

I love a nice bit of cake as we all know
but I don't make it

I am sat here now with me cuppa coffee and a slice
of Asda Chosen by you Iced fruit bar
it is the nicest cake I have ever had!!

the marzipan could be bit deeper and the icing is ok
but the fruit bit is fab!

9/10 asda

I love Christmas cake and normally buy mine from M&S , will try this one if it does not have nuts in , did you find any Northern Lass.

I've never been that keen on Christmas cake, strange really as I love Christmas puds and mince pies. Then when they put marzipan on it, that just gives it the final kiss of death as far as I'm concerned.
I did like the snow scenes on the cakes my mum did when we were kids though :wink:

I love the christmas cake with marzipan and icing , I also love mince pies also specially with icing on,

I recently discovered Ecclefechan Tarts, which are scrummy. Have made my own first ever batch and they will be replacing Mince Pies in this house for Christmas. Probably need a Government Health Warning though, due to the amount of butter.

Made 4 Christmas cakes yesterday. Made the house smell lovely!
