On the Bcc site Anne Baker is the daughter of Joseph and Susannah.
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... ker-Family
The IGI has an 1794 date for this baptism. Can someone with access to the transcripts confirm which date is correct?
My reason for asking is to explore the possibility that this Anne is the one who married Joseph Tibbetts 0n 1 Aug 1813, and therefore one of my ancestors. Census returns for the Anne married to Joseph suggest her birth was in the 1790s.
Further circumstantial evidence:
1. The Elizabeth Tibbetts that married Joseph Baker (Annes' brother) was a first cousin of Joseph Tibbetts.
2. These Bakers and Tibbetts are in the same part of Old Hill at the time of the 1841 census.
3. Children's names in the two families have similarities:
Joseph & Ann Tibbetts: Mary, Susanna (twice), Elizabeth, Joseph, Nancy, William, Amelia
Joseph & Elizabeth Baker: Joseph, Mary, Elizabeth, Phoebe, Samuel, Susannah, William

Any thoughts/contributions gratefully received!

In Volume 3 of the Rowley Regis Parish Register published by the Staffordshire Parish Registers Society, the baptism is listed as

1794, Mar. 30. Ann, d. of Joseph & Susannah Baker.

The Siviters are also in the same area, Susannah Siviter being a cousin of mine.

Ther are a lot of Baptisms that ay as it was Mid Lent Sunday.

On the same day Susannah, daughter of Samuel and Mary Tibbotts and John, son of John and Mary Siviter were also baptised.

I have the 1813 marriage located at St Thomas. If Joseph Baker is the father of Ann, we probably have sufficient to make the connection.

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my use of language. I should have said the marriage was located at St Thomas, and not implied that I have full details of the marriage. The IGI in this case does not give the parents. So, if anyone can access information relating to the marriage we can see if the parents are included.
