Higgler, Itinerant peddler. A lot of the Higgler's trade involved barter, rather than money changing hands and the name derives from the resultant haggling.

the one on Bcc is in 1861 here
1861: Simpson Street, Oldbury, Staffs
Edward Evans 29 Lab at Iron Works
Betsey Evans 28

(all born Oldbury, Worc)


and the one sparks found looks good for the marriage
so that needs adding as a new person on Bcc
