A week of sadness in motorsport....

Last week a lovely Brit, Dan Wheldon, was killed in a Indycar Race in Las Vegas. That race was dangerous and should never have taken place. It was sad to lose him.
A couple of hours ago one of my favorite motorcyle racers, Marco Simoncelli, was killed in the MotoGP race in Malaysia. A simple accident that should have resulted in a couple of bruises but he was hit by two following bikes, one ridden by his best friend, 7 times world champion Valentino Rossi. He died instantly. Only 24 years old.
I have seen dozens killed over the years of following motorsport but these two have really affected me.
Everybody knows motorsport in dangerous but in Dan's case it was too dangerous.
With Marco, it was just plain bad luck.
