I will add census to save wasting info posted and kids from census if you have additional info you can add to ancestors
which will help anyone else researching family.
I will add for look ups some poss marriages if you have them already if you can post then I will delete the look up

Have you got the birth certif for Mary her dob seems to vary
wondering where you got the 1874 and date from?

BCC says Mary died Jan 1958.

That date is of birth was supplied by a decendant of Ephrain Snr.

If you look at the census information, Mary Siviter's year of birth is all over the place.

Samuel and Fanny did not marry till after they had many children.

The maiden name for Fanny also varies between Pincer, Pincher, Pinchen etc.

That death entry is the correct one and the middle initial is not correct.

This whole family is a pain to work through. They lie all the time about their age (on Census, when getting married, when enlisting in the armed servies etc).

Sometimes they are devout Weslyan and you will find records in the non-conformist registers. Other times they seeming to be good Anglicans.

Sometimes they marry years after they start having kids but are incosistent in registering them as children of the father or a single mother.

Okay, your mission if you accept it is:

Lookup the marriage between Samuel Siviter and Fanny Pincher.

Her surname is Pincher becasue several of her children with Samuel are registered as Pincher.

I know her father was George.

I know the marriage occured on the 22nd Dec 1889 supposedly at a Church in Oldbury.

I know her name is recorded as Pinchin in the index.

I do not know if this was her first marriage and if she was born a Pincher/Pinchin.
