I have just been adding some info on BCC for a William Holt. I noticed a witness to his marriage is an Elisha Davies.
William Holt had a brother Elisha that hasnt been seen from 1861 census. I havent been able to find a death for him or marriage.

The children all take on surnames to who ever Mary Ann Gill was with in census...

So could he be Elisha but surname as Davies??

I think that Elisha Davies and William Holt were half-brothers,and Emma Skeldon was their big sister.When Emma had her baby Elisha William Holt in 1861 she named him after those two.Am I having a senior moment or not . Pat

Shame the marriage didnt show father! There is a look up for Mary ann to a Timothy Davies that will clinch it! Fingers crossed
