I'm Ann, I've recently begun to take a look at my family history and realised I don't know very much! Earlier today I discovered this marvellous site and couldn't wait to beome a member. My family have Black Country roots: Samuel Sheldon/Edith Ray are my grandparents, they lived in Cradley Heath and Amblecote (Stourbridge area) and had six children...I'm eager to find out more about my family history and have already found a superbly informative link on this site to Edith's father John Ray, most of which was news to me

- I'm ready to find out more.....

Hi Ann
If you are a total Beginner and want to know how to do the research
then we have the Beginners section....in there we won't give you the answers but will steer
you to finding out the info yourself.
If you just want the info then post in the Black Country Genealogy section
saying what you want to find and we will give you the answers...if we can
so get your questions ready and dive in
