Hi all

im looking for a little help, ive traced my family tree back to my great grand parents but cant seem to get any futher

their names were John a Round born 1914
and Edith Ward born 1913 both were born in the dudley area and married at st thomas netherton

does anyone else have thes names in their tree?

..... so to answer your question with another question -- do you have either their marriage certificate or their birth certificates? -- either of these will give information on one or more of their parents.

If you do not have the marriage certificate someone may be able to post the details if you have the date of their marriage.

Once you have their parents it should be possible for someone to try to look up the family on the 1911 census if you do not have access to it which should get you further.

Births Mar 1914.
WARD Edith M. mothers maiden name Hadlington. Dudley. 6b. 1991.

Possible for John,
Births Jun 1914.
Round John A. mothers maiden name Bebbington. Dudley. 6b. 2072.

the name bebbinton is one ive seen before on the 1911 census

edith was edith m born 10 dec 1913 not sure which on would be her

If she was born born 10 dec 1913, then it could be the one in Dudley, which could have been registered in Jan 1914.

You will need 1911 census if this is the right one, plus marriage cert.

YOu would need to get this from the registry office
Dudley Registry office are excellent and will send this to you for £9

From some
info I have Edward Ward seems to be her father so this looks good too.
But best to check yourself and get the marriage certif for John A Round.

can't see a marriage for Bebbington and Round

we could do with adding some of this to Bcc might help
when we have it down on paper

just John A Rounds father we need
so that is from Birth certif or marriage
