Hymns ancient and otherwise

Does anyone recall the name of the school hymn books which would have been around in school in the 60's?
We must have had Hymns Ancient and Modern at church but the infant/primary schools I attended (C of E) had blue cloth-bound affairs which had a hymn on each page with the first verse plus music, followed by the rest of the verses.
I just can't remember what it was called

'Hymns Ancient and Modern' was burgundy coloured I recall.
I think the other one was called 'Songs of Praise'. There are a few threads knocking around the internet about it.

No, it was not Songs of Praise. I spent a lot of time looking around the Internet before I posted my question and I saw this book. I also saw a newspaper article fro 1961 which said it was used in something like 65% (I forget the exact number) of schools. But I'm sure it wasn't that.
Oh dear! Lets hope the improved long term memory cicks in before Alzheimars takes me off to fairy land.

We used Songs of Praise at Halesowen Grammar. I've still got mine.
