great you have found the marriage but you have 2 Eliza's -- why do you think it is Guest and not Hill? -- remember the biggest danger in genealogy is jumping to conclusions without proof.

Hello Hope - I think this marriage took place at Christchurch in Quinton. We'll go to Birmingham Archives and hopefully get a copy. Once we have this marriage, we will know who their father's are and we can then find Enoch and Eliza's families.
While we're waiting to do that, shall we look for someone else on your tree.
I'll open up another thread for Elizabeth Taylor. We know she was born in 1883 in Oldbury. See if you can find a marriage for James Thomas Taylor, before 1883. Remember that his second name might not be shown, or may be shown as just an initial
If they married in the place were Elizabeth was born, FreeBMD will be shown as West Bromwich, this is the main district, but on West Midlands BMD, their marriage will probably be shown as Oldbury, which is the sub district, and hopefully will give the church they were married in.

Hi Maggie thanks for that.
If Elizabeth was born 1883 i put that she was up to 23 years old when she married and cant seem to find her shall i go even further.
No matching records were found for Elizabeth TAYLOR in the following years:
1883, 1884, 1885, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895, 1896, 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905

We're looking for the marriage of her parents. We know from her marriage, that her father was James Thomas Taylor. So we are looking for a marriage between James Taylor (his second name Thomas may be shown, or it may be shown just as an initial T) in the few years before Elizabeth was born in 1883, in West Bromwich on FreeBMD and in Oldbury on West Midlands BMD.

Really having problems with this one .
No matching records were found for James Thomas TAYLOR in the following years:
1880, 1881, 1882, 1883, 1884
Just search for James Taylor (second names don't always show in searches)
