Not wanting to be pedantic Mike but surely if you only eat English food, then it must be you that is too interested in your own little world, as most of us are keen to try and open our minds to the foods of the World. Having said that, it doesn't mean I will eat any old thing. Deep fried bugs and even Rabbit which is as olde English as you like, turn my stomach. Yet I have no problem with Venison, Rose Veal (not the white crate reared type), Squid or Liver of any variety (would draw the line at Human, with a Chianti, or not )

No dinner for me tonight, don't have time, I'm off out with the Chief Constable again, second time in 2 weeks, I shall be getting myself a reputation. Hopefully a BBQ tomorrow though

Ok Pete!......."Not to my taste". I am not preaching, as you call it ! just stating a fact. As for the amount of family members, I don't think that is relevant, we were all given an allowance for each person.

I just had a corn beef sandwich and a packet of Tesco salted crisps, beat that.

No Jailhouse Rock, but they did do American Trilogy, which was a big hit for Elvis. Had a plate of Calamri before I went, wish I hadn't, as my hair smells like a Fish & Chip shop, with the emphasis on the Fish Very embarrassing when you have to keep kissing people you barely know. Goodness knows what they now think is wrong with me.

Easy tea for us, ham, peas pudding, tinned tom and waffles and I loved it! All out of packets Even peas pudding, bought it didnt make it this time !

peas pudding it cost more to make it than to buy it ready made so what the point
