I'll tell you one thing; it's getting harder to find things that'll wind Mik up - never mind; farmer's market tomorrow so there's bound to be something there that'll upset him. Shall I rhapsodise on the joys of sheeps cheese, the beauties of goats meat, the glories of the local chillies, the bison, the elk, the water buffalo. Shall I regale with tales of local brewed cider (less than £1.50 the pint), local ales (around £2.00 the pint), even alcoholic cordials, again locally produced, flavoured with blackberry, blackcurrant or cherry (now they are expensive at around £20 the litre, but one only needs a teaspoonful in a glass of white wine, English of course, to make the most delicious English equivalents of Kir) - now I come to think of it there's a world of ammunition to play with.

I made Lamb Tagine tonight, with roasted Veg Cous Cous. There's nothing like a bit of plain English cooking and that was nothing like a bit of plain English cooking. It was very good though
There are a lot of Scooter boys in our road. Is it one of those little ones Rob and do you do bunny hops on it?

Thanks Rob.....Some people can't take a joke, too interested in their own little world, and for your information Pete, as I have said before I only eat food I was brought up on......but of course you wouldn't remember the luxury of good English food at the end of WW11.

Apple Dumpling .....cooked in a rag made out of old pillowcase !.....with homemade custard.......Ever tried that Jimmy ?

Well mine is good old fashioned English food to day, Roast beef, Yorkshire pudds, roast potatoes and gravy, finished off with baked apple and custard, some will find it boring but I think it's yummie.

Yes when I was a lot younger in the 50's and 60's. but I don't eat sweets or desserts now, I don't go for fancy foods or foreign foods, just basic normal foods.
