Was William name on marriage certif can't remember now

Yes, Josephs father was William on marriage cert, but couldnt find anything on any census that goes.
There is a William in Dudley, with a son Joseph but different occupation how frustrating.

ring up Walsall regis office have a chat with someone in there see if they can find one that fits
they may help you ? worth a shot

If Joseph was born Willenhall wouldn't it come under the Wolverhampton Office?

I know this is going back a bit now, but I have obtained the Birth cert of Elizabeth Mc Nally my gran Gladys May Cartwright's maternal grand mother. Do you want details to put on BCC? Still can't find a birth index for her father Joseph Cartwright, or find him on any other census except the 1911.
