John and Sarah Dunn buried a son named John on 28 Nov 1810 at Brierly Hill...so probably not our John unless there are two sets of John/Sarah.

they often renamed late children after dead one so you could have two or poss 3 children with the same name

also note the source is easy that means its not from actual record but submitted by someone actual records are OMD

This is the christening information that was found a day ago. Jesse was listed as John in an early census, and was born abt 1818 on all census data. Northern Lass (?) posted a look-up request on this information to see if John (the father) was a gardener to see if it matches the marriage register for Jesse/Thirza. Hopefully this can be checked soon. I haven't found any birth information yet.

i think john born c 1770 could be the father of jesse as his brother is thomas father of sophia

this sophia is the person who Thirza Dunn was visiting in the 1861 census
