Hi Kaye, yes I think Pricilla was born before the Marriage, may not be James Basterfield's daughter though :?:

Just realised that Joseph son of James and Elizabeth is with Grandparents Joseph and Mary in 1861:-

In 1861 there is a Joseph Bastable (Basterfield) Son aged 18, must be Grandson? Son of son James Basterfield and Elizabeth Franklin.

Have added the information for Joseph Basterfield 1788 and wife Mary 1790, they were on BCC about 4 times :!:

Different spellings and different ages.

Back to Benjamin, here we have his Grandson in 1881:-
