Someone else thinks the same as we do Carole, the evidence is not there too prove it one way or the other, we have checked every available resource.

Fingers crossed something may turn up, you never know.

Just a thought but did any of John and Ann's children Marry after 1837 for the first or second time, if so it would be worth ordering or looking up the Marriage.

Christchurch was not built until 1840 Jan. I think that Mercy could be Phoebe, maybe we should check the actual register first off and see if it has been miss-transcribed, or if Phoebe is on there, if she's not, she could be from a different John and Ann altogether
