So Linell found our missing 1851
that is our Charles with wife Sarah (Hadley) and dau Ellen

that is the missing piece isnt it?
From that we see that her parents are Charles Matthews (maybe) and mother Mary probably
that marriage for Charles Matthews is 1832
Sarah is 11 on 1841 and 21 on 1851 so born abt 1830 maybe just bapt late

and next door to Charles Hackett and wife Sarah in 1871 is prob his father Rueben hackett

I was trying to type up all the possible families last night but got in a pickle! I'll try again just now.
I think there may be 3 Sarahs. Sarah Hadley, Sarah Hately and possible Sarah Matthews amongst it all All with Hacketts families near by.

I think Sarah Hadley is Sarah Matthews
on 1841 age 11
in 1851 age 21and down as dau
so think that is Sarah Hadley dau of Mary
and bapt bit late

Sarah Hately is the one married to the other Charles Hackett with kids rosannah and Jane
and on the 1851 and 1861 they are living near her parents Wm Hatley and Hannah
so that ties that one up...
his father may be a James Hackett...

this is what I think but until do those marriage look ups we dont know for certain

I think this lot tie in with a huge chunk on BCC
and can't wait to look this one up

done the look ups

We were rite....oh yeah! oh yeah...

Charles Hackett with Sarah hadley has father Reuben she didnt have a father on the cert which I believe substantiates the
bapt for that Sarah in 1837 with ma Mary and so Charles Matthews is prob her step father.

now the other Charles Hackett who married Sarah Hateley that checks out for her with father William

and I have opened up a new thread on this will add links to the Charles hackett with Reuben family in a min

That's brill NL, great to see it all falling into place. I have spent many hours on the Halesowen Hacketts and I am pretty sure there was only the one James Hackett Married to Catherine or Caroline in that time frame. Linell.
