I have done some look ups for this thread and can of worms springs to mind!!!

I have looked up the marriage for Aaron Davis and Susannah Harris
now all the pointers are for father as james
but
on the marriage cert father is Samuel

now what is interesting is that accord to info Di supplied James seems to have had a bro Samuel...so was Aaron adopt by James!!

think you might need the birth certif on this one Nutsy
