It looks like Jesse's parents were John Dunn and Lydia Taylor. It looks like they were married 5 May 1816 and I think I found her being born in 1771, so it is possible.

And I think you or Di found a sibling for Jesse, Mary Ann who was born in 1819. That would make Lydia 48 at the time of birth, still not impossible, but getting there.
