I just wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone for your input on this thread. :clap:

With this 8 hour time difference... I start a post before going to bed ....then wake up to find you have all been 'beavering away' through the night.... it's a bit like the 'elves and the shoemaker' ( anyone remember that story from childhood?)

You have given me so much new info...... my head is spinning somewhat with all the surnames...PROCTORS, TAYLORS, HEWITTS, HACKETTS, COMLEYS AND TROMANS ( & that's just for starters! :crazy: )

I will need time to digest it all.... but thanks again!

Thanks for adding all that info. kdw :P

I do have more info. on the HEWITTS.... I will get back to you as I want to double check everything.

I think the TAYLORS should be left at the moment...... though I will have a look to see if the info. I have for the Joseph TAYLOR I found ties up with any of the TAYLORS on the BCC tree.

I think at the moment the Joseph I found does not tie up with the William I have in my tree( does that make sense?)

William TAYLOR(32) labourer born in Quinton
wife Hannah(30)born in Blackheath....married 10 years
son William(9) born Langley
son David(6) born Blackheath
daughter Annie(1) born Whiteheath



Could we have the full information on this 1911 census please.
