Theres a ree on ancestry that says Annie (hannah) father is John Fox and Mother Catherine Agnew. You cant really go by that but contacting them would be good to see if they had more information.

I am coming up with 2 William Heighways The one that you have William W L Born in 1913 (mother's maiden name Powell) and also a William (no initials) born in 1911?? Is there any way to find out which one is him?

You really need to buy that marriage cert I think. It will give you his fathers name and the witnesses may possibly help too.
Have you bought one before?

I dont think you can view trees on acestry if you are not a member.

No I haven't purchased a certificate before How would I go about it and would I be able to do it as I live abroad?

If you use Freebmd for the refrence numbers you can go here to order them, and yes you can still order even though you are abroad. You have to apply, so just fill in the form and use the volume and page numbers you have

If you use a local office you need to go to them to order because they use different indexing numbers.

Certificates help to confirm who you are looking for and are really important.

Hi yes these both look correct as I found that William A Floyd married Benson in June 1925 so their birth dates sound right 1906 and 1905
Also the children from Floyd & Benson were Bertha, Jean, Dorothy, William K, Gladys and Hilda and I do recognise these as my father's siblings
