I would just like to know when she died or when she was born that Gladys Henfry and we could find her on the census or see if she was maybe married previously to having Clarence H Stephens.

Or who she married later that stepfather cos then the marriage certif would have her fathers name on if she married him that is.

No this has been solved. Gladys was born in India to an Army officer. She was recorded as Gladys stephens widower on the 1911 census a year before Clarence was born so Stephens was not the father so dead end in that respect.
