Not sure when I'll be able to see her, but I did say I'd send of copies of the stuff I've got.

I'll try to think of some questions to ask.

I was doing genealogy at school years ago which is when I got started.

Let it slip but have been watching repeats of Who Do You Think You Are? which got me inspired again.

Thought I'd got everything I knew about the family from her then.

At least someone else managed to trace one side of the my grandfather's family back to 1762.

It should get interesting at some point because my grandfather's family and grandmother's family both married into the same family :D

We stayed with some of them just by chance. They ran a B&B and we saw their family tree on the wall.

My mum knows about this so will ply her for information.

You certainly have had some luck on one side of the family if not the other.

Happy Hunting

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their help.

Discovering bits and bobs including birth dates etc. turns out there were twins rather than two births within a year.

Should make interesting reading for my gran. I would go further but the price of the certificates is too much to delve deeper especially if it's a dud

Time to do some work on the other side of the family with its different spellings of surname.
