it could be her sister in law i like to be ioo%sure
i wold be incline to think elizabeth and mary ann are maria/mary daughters one from her first marriage other before first marriage you need to track down a christening for one or both
Hampton Bishop, is just outside the town of Hereford
and Norton Herefordshire will come under broomyard i would think

So the county express is also at the Dudley archives if you ever go there They do I think cataglogue some of the entries so you could have a look thru those there might be a ref to Nelson or something. Although I go to Dudley I avoid looking at the newspapers unless I can go exactly to the page etc.
So not sure if you want this whole topic moved to brick walls or to look up requests section or do you need any more info on this actual thread.

Although poss just a coincidence, I have an Andrew Nelson Evans b1907 son of John Evans b1858 Cradley Heath and Mary Ann (Davey) b1866 Membury, Devonshire. They married in 1885 St Hellier, Jersey.
I wonder why they chose Nelson for his middle name

Hi Sue. Mom and dad are well thankyou. Hows Joy? I have a question. If Marie was born in 1777 and died in 1882 then she'd be 105 or am I getting confused.
