I don't have any data points between the start and 2012 so that is just a straight line - I expect it wiggled a bit.

Ahh! thanks mumbles but I am struggling to add anything at the moment too busy.
I have lots of names I want to add from the Rowley Regis memorial to honour them and their memory and their
bravery in fighting for our freedom in WW1.....but not had time yet...so many young men died so young.

Onward gang to the next 200,000 names

One of the days we need to clear some of the unknowns on there too.

Good idea at start lots of info and well researched very useful for beginners stuck on marriages baps & burials etc but not very good now - not enough marriage details etc on new leads to prove connections ie http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... ver=346350 just being added to -making it seem bigger lots of loose people without connects to tree .Needs More effort into to it Please  Kind regards RF

That looks ok to me that connection on Ancestry --the father for Jonah being a Daniel Brookes
what is it you feel is wrong.... :?

Up to anyone checking out the tree to check out the research for themselves as you would with anyones tree
and anyones individual research

marriage info is from individuals research or look ups or online registers/indexes.

Dont always need the actual certif if other things point to it being that marriage and a good connection
any errors anyone can always contact us and we can look into.

Think this is what the site was originally intended for:
Have added 6 marriages recently (courtesy of Rocky & Jan). 5 of the 6
spouses were already on BCC and it was just a matter of connecting up.
How many others have found this to be the case ????

A lot of people on Ancestry do it like that as well - each to their own way

There must be loads on Bcc that could be connected up
and it is the time factor that stops them being looked up....or dealt with.

Thanks to those that do look ups or give us the info we are then
able to make those connections

Definately the case Sparks...
The longer BCC has been going, the more we have been able to connect up thanks to those lookups

It's still exciting when we find those connections!!
If you would like to have your ancestors photo's included in our Gallery, please send me a pm.

Researching: Evans, Rollason, Henley/Hendley, Brookes, Taylor (Wilson - Birmingham)

My directive from Nl was that if 90% or more certain about connection either from Census records where relatives appear later living with sons daughters and or nieces or brothers and sisters ok to connect. Another useful tool has been witnesses at marriages who very often help make connection. Some of connections I make are very often very complicated and need to be tracked from various pieces of info and yet again if link is too spurious or complicated I put on forum as a thread for an opinion by others. Obviously if any doubts marriage should be used to confirm and RF has been gold medal on this for a few years.
