On my tree, I have Thomas GARRATT abt 1847, Scotland, spouse of Martha SPITTLE, as the son of Jeremiah GARRATT 1818 Cradley (spouse Helen EVANS?) and grandson of Samuel GARRATT ~1778 - 1857 Rowley Regis and Phillis BILLINGHAM 1784 - 1858 Rowley Regis.

Jeremiah GARRATT and Helen EVANS possible marriage 1840, Bristol

Thomas's Grandfather was Samuel GARRATT. Parish Constable & Chainmaker.

is this correct as ellen there child is 11 in 1871 ? and there shown as married in 1861 census
