Some possible Oldbury connections, NL: I have a Rebecca Pickerill b. about 1829 Langley, Oldbury, dau. of Susannah Pickerill b. about 1787 Oldbury, who in 1846 married William Carr, b. about 1826 in Oldbury. The Carrs are an old Oldbury family and connect with the Sauls, another one, through William Carr's son Thomas' marriage to Lucy Saul in 1868. Thomas's brother Joseph Carr b. 1872 married Elizabeth Anne Plant b. 1872 Oldbury in 1895 in Oldbury. She was the daughter of Joseph Smith Plant (1847-after 1911) and Rebecca Ann Watson (1851-after 1911), Joseph being part of the line of Plants with "geographical" names like Warwick, Dudley and Richmond. Joseph was the son of my great great grandfather Warwick Plant (1816-1892) and Elizabeth Smith (1818-about 1884).

I have brought this back as done the look up

Now on the Abel Pickerill it checks out nicely so that side is sorted.

Now the Hannah Rose who married Abel Pickerill her father is a Spade shovel plate ironworker
and I think he might link back to Joseph and Hannah Rose

Joseph and Hannah Rose had Susannah Rose who married William Cutler
William Cutler and Susannah Rose had Martha Cutler who married Henry Pickerill
Martha Cutler and Henry Pickerill had Abel Pickerill who married this Hannah Rose here
