I'm still working my way around this one .

However It looks like Samuel & Hannah first son Joseph @1828 may be our missing Joseph, Samuels (1859) father.
It got confusing because they have another son Joseph born 1851.


I agree not our Caroline Hunt as father is John Hunt. Thought it was John Joseph's brother but he doesn't appear to have a daughter Caroline.

So I think it all connects to link you've added for family on bcc

I think they dont know who father is? Hannah Hunt obviously didnt marry as her mother was with her 1871. Hannah has a sister Caroline...
On census Caroline is sometimes down as Catherine.
