I think it is the Elijah one............only cos his Gtmother Sarah on 1841 and other census is a shopkeeper

Didn't realise that the one who married Margaret was already on BCC.
This makes me also inclined to think the one we are looking for is the Elijah one - we know he survived into the time of the census, whereas I can find no trace of the other one (West Bromwich?) after his baptism.
I also suspect therefore, that the same one also married Ann, who died, and then Thomas married Emala Mallin?

can we rule out other thomas by tracing any marriage we can look up ? for instant these two
