My Line is John Jones and Sarah Jane Jones they are my great grandparents, I have to go out soon but will look up their children for you later today, as for the marriage for William Jones and jane I have a cd of Shropshire marriages and found them there.

I have found his attestation papers Joseph/John joined the Canadian army in St John's New Brunswick November 1914. Trying to find when he went to Canada must have been between 1911 and 1914 as he isn't on the 1911 census with his family. Have looked on the home child records and can't find him listed.

I haven't been following the thread but might he have been sent to Canada as an underage evacuee and then joined up as soon as he was old enough?
