Those Thomas are only related to me by marriage.

We are talking about my Cutler line here which is one of the 4 major lines in my family and I am more than fond of them!!! (Even though they all lived within a few feet of each other, had huge families and named their children the same and all married a Mary or John.)

If I was worried about minor criminals I would have trouble with my wife who has 7 convicts in her direct line.

I wouldn't have a tree with 15,000 relatives (of which approx 12,000 are Ag Labourers) if I wasn't fond of them.

I certainly wouldn't be minutely reading 18th century maps looking for Henny Lane in Shropshire like I have been for the last 4 hours.

You really have misunderstood a harmless bit of fun.

You were laughing along with Rob so I was pretending to be offended by reminding you that we are (distant) family.

Perhaps I should use the smilies so puns and jokes are more obvious to those not used to my Aussie sense of humor?

It has been many years since somebody has taken offense at something I have posted!!!

P.S. The "criminals" sent to Australia lived longer, had more food and more opportunities than the families they left behind. In a way they were the lucky ones and escaped the poverty that made them criminals in the first place. Daniel Cutler had no excuse. He was just a crook.

That's ok Mark. Perhaps i am a little sensitive. Its hard to read someone without seeing them,and I worry that I have upset them. I am not very good at banter. If i was a bloke I would probably be unconcerned .i am glad we are friend again dt

i'm not very good on that sort of humour,i like comedy such as Del boy ,and Rodney ,The vicar if Dibley that sort of thing. If someone is going to tease me, i need to see there face or its just words ,and how i interpret them. I will try not to take it all to heart. Dt
