This would fit then wouldnt it?

only prob is he is discharged in 1896 but on 1895 he puts occup on marriage and it isnt in army

he isnt on 1900 though and wife is with her parents in 1901

They are often put in reserve before dicsharge and make a living doing other things. My Great Grandfather was the same. He marrried whilst still in the Army but out down Groom as his occupation as that was paying the bills.
