It was a good program,and I thought true to life as it was then.Hope you enjoy it Sue, I was born in 52, and to me it was very much like that. I did not see much change till the early 70's.Dt

We have some silly channel called BBC Entertainment, but it's not worth the money, so we don't bother with that.
We're hoping that when they put the new satalite up in 2013 it'll still be possible to recieve from the UK, but we're not going to invest in a mega store dish and reciever until we know for sure! Apparently the new satalite will limit coverage so countries like Denmark that are further away wont get as good reception for free to view as now, meaning that we'll have to subscribe to the inferior BBC channels if we want them. (And eeven with BBC entertainment, it can be months or years before we get the good stuff, cause the BBC want Denmark's own channels to send them, as they'll get more revenue!).

We've got BBC entertainment and it is terrible! That and BBC Lifestyle. Repeat after repeat after repeat, and loads of American stuff like Extreme Home Makeover. I mean to cancel it but keep forgetting to do it.

We have all the BBC Channels. It's terrible. Repeat after repeat. 
And can they ever stop changing the schedule for Sunday nights? Missed Downton Abbey last night because visitors arrived late and we were watching the Antique Roadshow, I didn't look at the clock and had no idea it was on so late. Had to watch Downton on Plus 1. But every week the schedule changes, it drives me mad!

It's about time the Beeb started to give us value for our licence money. Daytime telly is full of brain shrivelling drivell (is that how you spell it?) we have a choice of "would you like to buy my old rubbish, or shall I take it to the tip" or "what shall we cook today", or "shall we give your house a makeover" or endless repeats of old stuff. To be fair, my 93 year old mom does like programmes like Heartbeat and the doctor in cowboy land (can't remember the name), but she does only have the telly for company when she's on her own.
I have a telly in my workroom, so do like to watch while I'm dressmaking, luckily I have BT vision, so can watch playback or recorded.
ITV's no better.
