What about if,and i'm not saying it is,Burnt Tree was named after a tree that was left burning after being struck by lightning!!

It's a mistranscription; There used to be a stream there with a Scottish family living by the name of McTree living nearby, so actually it's the Burn where the Trees lived: Burn Tree. :grin:
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Good answer SRD - actually loads of my Burns rellies lived there - not sure if they were from the highlands though :lol:

Went to Tesco today and it's absolutely HUGE. Plenty of car parking spaces and lots of room between the aisles - Love it.

I did Tesco as well Jean, but the one in Stafford, that is huge too, like the one in Cradley Heath, Tesco are everywhere aren't they. :-) Linell.
