I can't find any Morris/Webb marriages that fit.

I can't find any Morris/Skidmore marriages that fit.

I can't find any Prescilla Morris baptisms in Staffordshire although there is an excellent one in Diddlebury, Shropshire which is 40 miles away from Tipton/Dudley.

I believe in one or two coincidences but the whole thing panns out too well with the Wilkes connection, Benjamin Skidmore having Joseph and Zillah for his parents and his birth date etc.

Coincidences...

1) We have a Benjamin Skidmore born to a Benjamin and Zillah Baptised in Wednesbury in Feb 1833.
2) Benjamin, husband of Zillah, dies in Tipton in August 1832.
3) We have a Zillah Skidmore marrying Joseph Webb in Dudley in September 1834.
4) We have the 1851 census showing a Benjamin Webb, son of Zilla, born abt 1833 in Wednesbury.
5) We have the 1841 census showing a Benjamin Web, born abt 1833, Living with Joseph and Zillah in Tipton.
6) In 1861 Zillah is living in a house with a Rosannah Wilkes (Zillah would be her grandmother). A Rosannah Wilkes is one of the Witnesses to Lucy Homer and William Webbs marriage.

This is why I love he Australian records including both parents names, including maiden names, in the records.

Some states even put down the relationship of the witnesses.

Yes, all those are my Homer family prior to 1881, and at the beggining of the thread I posted the married Lucy with parents in 1881. No sign of her hubby in 1881 or either of them after 1881.
