Do you have the birth certif info you can post?
or the birth indexes?

So we can take a look at what you think is incorrect
need proof and documentation.

we put an about date which covers a year or two either side.

But if you have the correct info do post and we can take a look at the certifs you have

Perhaps you might like to explain why the 1871 is incorrect
then we can see exactly what you are saying

this one

1861: Sycamore Lane, Oldbury, Staffs
Henry Harvey 42 Head Coalminer Oldbury
Mary Ann Harvey 41 Wife Tipton
Samuel Harvey 19 Son Coalminer Langley
William Harvey 16 Son Coalminer Langley
Edward Harvey 14 Son Coalminer Langley
Mary Ann Harvey 9 Dau Langley
Emma Harvey 6 Dau Langley
Phebe Harvey 5 Dau Langley
Ellen Harvey 2 Dau Langley
Thomas Harvey 1 Son Langley

looks the same family as this one

(Surname not very clear....transcribed as Harry)
1871: Sycamore Lane, Oldbury
Henry Harvey 53 Head Miner
Mary Harvey 53 Wife Tipton
Edward Harvey Son 24 Miner
Emma Harvey 17 Dau U Brickmaker
Pheobe Harvey 15 Dau Brickmaker
Ellen Harvey 12 Dau Brickmaker
Thomas Harvey 10 Son
Nancy Harvey 8 Dau
Sarah Harvey 2 Dau
Mary Ann Harvey 13 Dau Brickmaker
(others born Oldbury)

all looks same family to me
