Book-keeping services are usually cheaper than wives so I'm not sure who ought to be watching what.

But a Book-keeper, who cooks superb food, does the garden, warms his bed and does the decorating, would cost far more than I do.

With all the money he'd save he could afford to eat out every night and pay a gardener, as he'd never be home he wouldn't need a decorator. And hot water bottles aren't expensive.
