I think Mark was saying what they have put on that site as the abbreviation?

Thanks Jo, looks like the person who disagreed was wrong according to that doesn't it?
The said person suggested that if he was a 'clerk' he wouldn't have been living in Double Row which contains 'labouring' families. If he was a clerk he would have lived in a more up-market district.

? odd to think that because of the address? What did they think he was?

Hmmm no children older for a marriage to show father unless theres a later second marriage?
