Ranter is a term the vicar used for Primitive Methodist.
Lucy is on BCC maiden name as Forrest.
Hannah is there in the 1871

The term "Rant" is Thompson's way of describing Ranters, or Primitive Methodists.
They had been given this nickname just after the movement had begun in 1811, due to their enthusiasm for singing in the streets.
In 1853 the Cradley society had opened their new chapel in New Street.

I have added extra census to Joseph and included Annie as his daughter, made a note to both Hannahs but not connected them as one as there is no proof.
