I have removed stuff , but no difference. My grandson has an iPhone and there are loads of Apps and music I have asked him to remove them,he said he can't because it's all on his Apple Account......any suggestions mates.....or am I stuffed ? the recovery disk is quite low as well.

I don't think it makes any difference to his apple account, he can deactivate your computer as one of his apple computers from any other computer. Of course if he has any apps that he wants then he needs to transfer those. We've just done it with our pc, no problems what so ever - even transferred all my music library with no problems - that'd have taken eons if I'd had to get my old cd's out and do it all again!!!

Tell him to buy an external USB hard drive. They cost less than 50 quid for a 2 Terrabyte model.

He can then transfer all his Apple stuff over to that.
