I can't look it up but I suppose it's possible that the Thomas you have there is the son of the William Thomas discussed here and elsewhere, the May is the Violet May Miles and Flora is their daughter and the wife to be of Charles Golding. I'll need to draw up a timeline to check it all but it looks right. It would be nice to have an address for your record Jimmy if anyone can find it.

Ok, so life's never that simple. What's happened to (L)Etty Flora in 1901? She'd have been 16ish.

And Jimmy's info doesn't seem to cover any of the Whiteheads here.

I know it's a lot to ask but would someone please look up Whiteheads in Dartford.

Thanks.

Thanks Stonewaller, that's the eldest son, but I hadn't got the younger child yet (another b****y Thomas; they had no imagination and no consideration for us poor family hunters) - this game never ends does it?

edit: I can't find the birth of young Thomas on FreeBMD.

I got excited for a bit there as the Lowfield Street address seemed familiar; I recall a branch of the family living there, but a quick troll round Streetview showed it was the wrong part of Lowfield Street.

The list doesn't seem to be comprehensive, missing both families out at Swanley and Crocken Hill, maybe it just covers those with actual Dartford addresses.

I love using Streetview to find the properties mentioned in entries, it's turned up trumps for Pear Tree Cottage in Crocken Hill. If you Google the postcode br8 8lp, switch to Maps and drag the little man down to Cray Road, opposite the garage are Pear Tree Cottages, pretty little places. Google will also give estate agents details of one of them.

This looks pretty much done. Looks like I'll have to wait another 10 years before tracking them further. Thanks everyone.
