and I have put the marriage for Eli and Louisa in citations so will delete the marriage in notes

To add marriage
click on ancestor as though to edit...go into eli wakeman
at top of page of ancestor template is Citations
Click on
select event from drop down box
ie marriage to myra pardoe
Select source
parish register looked up by RF click on that
then click on direct evidence
and then add as you would in notes
if you still not sure
add in notes on both as you have been doing
