Well there has to be a Wesleyan Chapel somewhere in Old Hill!! Clifton Street? I didn't even know there was a roundabout down there it's been years since i was around those streets.Clifton Street was near to Old Hill Plaza wasn't it?

This chappel was demolished a long time ago. I will try to take a drive up there later on and see which chapels/churches are where. If I can get past the one way system that's in opperation due to the road works.......

it was first built in 1868 then rebuilt in 1904 was still there on monday :lol: :lol:

google halesowen rd staffordshire, and the chapel on the roundabout where it meets with heathfield way A459

next to fine diner on google map :grin:

Not bad Pete for a Scouser! So you was down in the Black Country then.
You know if i had plenty of money i'd buy(or is it by? :lol: ) that chapel and live there.After i'd done it up of course.can't stand filth!!

Hey Rob - do you know the Barrel car park is now a housing estate, The Kings Highway is gone and they're building a supermarket and - shock horror - I was driving up mom's a couple of weeks ago through Whiteheath and the Gate is now a
Co-op. Can't believe how quickly that went up :shock:

The chapel in these pictures is still there, but the Rhubarb chapel that used to be on old hill cross was demolished years ago to make way for the new road.
