I have father Benjamin born about 1823 Netherton, living in Hill Street, wife was Sarah Watkiss I think, Marriage 1854 Dudley

our Sarah is a Sarah Oakley as Elizabeth Oakley is born 1844

Hi NL I have these Notes for the Marriage of John to Emma Eley:-

The Marriage Certificate of John Round and Emma Eley - John, then only 23, gives his 'rank or profession' as Grocer, while his father Benjamin gives none - had he retired and handed on the family business to his son? Emma, 20, had no profession, but her father William is given as a Cattle Dealer. Though the Wedding took place at the Parish Church in Pensnett, both bride and groom were resident in Netherton at the time. One of the witnesses was Mary Jewkes Greenway - we know that the Eleys had married into the Greenway family in the 1830's, so is Jewkes another surname which joined the family tree at some later stage?

Yes I think it is the same John, I did when I was adding them yesterday and was going to leave you that link, Yes I will add the census and all the other bits that need adding for the round family and info from the bible.

Family Bible gives 11th February 1877 for Rachel Rounds Marriage at St Thomas Dudley , I have found this marriage so going to add it for a lookup.
