Got her in 1891 then in 1901 her hubby Wm Rose is with new lady

cant see her death
cant see her on 1911

any ideas ?

Don't suppose she witnessed a wedding at all? Not George Henry's, that is on BCC, and I think we had a copy of Ernest's didn't we? What about William and Samuel? Worth a lookup?
I assumed that since Ellen was named as "paramour" in the newspaper article then he was still married at the time but it could just have been the paper being fancy.

I still think it is strange the place of birth for her on 1891

I wondered if she died after Lilly Elizabeth is born?
1887...............or leaves .................or is that really her on 1891

Could she have changed her name, or like you said is she under someones patio, I have spent ages looking but came up with nothing.

In 1887 she has Lily Elizabeth Rose..........I wondered if it was worth sending for that certificate.



Then no more kids we know of.

I dont know if any of their kids are baptised I would presume St thomas or
St Giles or St Lukes Cradley Heath.

Then in 1891 they are living at St Giles st RR

then in 1901 Birmingham Rd
and by 1898 Wm Rose is with his new lady Ellen downs
They have a child in 1898 then in 1900 address 28 B'ham road.

What I find odd is why put Soho Warwickshire for her place of birth in 1891
it is just so odd.

I sort of think she disappears around 1891 but just a feeling.

Is that Soho Handsworth B'ham Jan? Do you have her on any earlier Census entries? Suppose she could have just left & moved in with someone else? Are any of the children missing? Are they all with Wm Rose?

There is a Harry Rose in Wales (Pontypridd maybe?) who I thought was a possible but I can't remember if we ruled him out previously.
