These Genealogists could be wrong Nessa, sounds like a bit of guess work to me, I would go with what Jimmy found, is that the Christening Date you found at Dudley -
Mary Emma Guest.
Birth, 19 FEB 1843.
Christening, 13 JUL 1851. Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester.
Parents:
HENRY GUEST.
ELIZABETH.

Linell.
never seen one there is an entry number on the baptism and if you are lucky notes
I think nessa should contact regis office and say she only wants it if mother is Elizabeth
and not give any other names....and father Henry....send them an email they are very helpful
then it won't cost you anthing but you will then know which one to order or not order when you ready

Thank you for the advice, I will send an email to the archives as I don't think we will be visiting them before the summer.

Nessa Certifs are the regis office not the archives.
Archives only have bapts burials and marriages ie church ceremonies
the marriage ones of course are same as at regis office which is a bit of luck!
If we are done on this now will flag to archive
let us know how you get on
