This Elizabeth Westwood (Grand daughter to John & Ann) seems to be the daughter of John b. abt 1840:

1871 at Common Side Hednesford, Cannock
Entry 76
John Westwood Head Mar 31 Coal Miner b. Staffs., Dudley
Mary Westwood Wife Mar 30 b. b. Staffs., Wolverhampton
Elizabeth A. Westwood Daur 5 b. Staffs., Tipton
William Westwood Son 2 b. Staffs., Tipton
Samuel Westwood Son 10 mo b. Staffs., Tipton

and at Entry 74 are:
Thomas Westwood Head Mar 30 Coal Miner b. Staffs., Dudley
Sophia Westwood Wife 29 b. Staffs., Malton (?)
George Westwood Son 9 Scholar b. Staffs., Tipton
Sarah A. Westwood Daur 7 Scholar b. Staffs., Tipton
Sophia Westwood Daur 4 Scholar b. Staffs., Tipton
Thos. Westwood Son 2 b. Staffs., Tipton
George H Westwood 2 mo b. Staffs., Hednesford

This looks like Thomas, son of John & Ann, but married to a Sophia in 1871.

So possibly Thomas, son of John & Ann Westwood/nee Wheelwright is not the right one, but yet a 3rd Thomas-son-of-John born about same time.

Free BMDs:
Sophia Elizabeth Lester 1860 Dudley (To 1912) Staffordshire, Worcestershire
Thomas Westwood 1860 Dudley (To 1912) Staffordshire, Worcestershire

Should I add this family to BCC?

OK, all on here for family of John Westwood and Ann Wheelwright now on BCC here:
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... ood-Family

Finding some fascinating stuff on Sophia Lester's dad, but this topic can be archived as far as I'm concerned, but you didn't ever answer the question of who was the Thomas Westwood, with father John, who married Elizabeth Carter.

The bible page is published with a family tree on Ancestry. Don't know if we should quote a tree-owner on here.
I've put in a note attributing it to "a tree on Ancestry".
