Hi

I have all of the details on Doris i have traced her right back. I just lose Edward Turner from when Doris died. The story is that he was in the army or something and went back to London when she died. I am not sure if this is correct as the story was that they didnt marry but they did.

I just dont know where else to look to locate details about Edward

what was his job on marriage cert ?

Wedd Cert states he was an Engineer

Doris' death cert states that he was an Electrical Engineer (Journeyman)

you could search the electrol register for the address on wedding cert and deth cert see if he lived there for any time afterwards ?

How do i do that?

The address on the death cert is her mothers in Averham, Nottingham
The Marriage cert shows 14 Pakenham Street, N.W London for Edward and Garth Bungalow, Mickleover, Derby for Doris (I think this was one of her sisters addresses .....not 100%)

local council or the local archieve not used them myself someone will fill in the details

Mother was Sarah P! and she had previously married to a Mr Carter!

Thanks for all of the information- much appreciated

Do you know where i could look for information on Edward going forward, if he married before 1928 when he married my Great Grandma where would i find out if he had devorced before hand. Also not sure how to find out where he went to after 1928.

If i wanted to look at the address in London that is showing on his Marriage cert to Doris would i have to go to London arkives or is there somewhere on the internet that i can look at electrol registers?

I am just at a standstill and have no idea of where to look for more information
