Great Jimmy and Nl
Must be right Samuel Homer as Greengrocer and Fruiter on various Census Records.
The Mary Willetts marriage looks the right one also.

noticed that we have 2 poss marriages for Samuel and Mary

he is a wid on second
I think he marries both these

there are 2 poss marriages
1. Samuel Homer and Mary Williams 21 AUG 1803 Kingswinford

and

2.Samuel Homer and Mary Grove 05 AUG 1804 Clent, Worcester

I think it could be the Clent one but tbc.....

This is the Clent one from bk transcript
5 August 1804 Clent
Samuel X Homer widr of the Parish of Rowley Regis and Mary Grove spr otp
by banns
Samuel Perey and Sarah Homer

I think it is deffo the Clent one
as wit is a Samuel Perry
and I see that Richard Homer bro to Samuel marries Constance Perry she has a bro Samuel

Samuel Homer seems to have a sis Sarah homer

but is that first marriage his?

do you think we can add or connect any of this Mumbles?

I think that 1808 one on Bcc is our Samuel that marries Mary Willetts
so think we can connect up and add marriage for that clent one he is of parish of RR

what you think?

I think that is the one
but we do have to be careful
we could add with a note

what about those 2 marriages for Samuel I think they are both his

could do with that kingswinford one checked

Ok mumbles do you fancy connecting this Samuel up and adding what we can?

Hi Jan, Mumbles, there seems to be two Samuel and Mary's one with roots in Kingswinford. The family I have Samuel Married to Mary Williams living Lawrence Lane Old Hill, seem to be wedded in the Old Hill area, family are also in Lawrence Lane, I don't know but I got the impression that particular Homer family had lived in the Lawrence Lane area for some time :?: Samuel in 1841 says he was living on Independent Means, and a Mary Talbot is in the Household aged 75 born in County, I wondered if she was Mary's Mother? May have Married twice etc etc. Homer was a very common name. Will get back to you if I think of anything else.

Linell.
