And - talking about Father Christmas, our kids love to watch him go around the world every year on NORAD the official Santa Tracker.

You know where he went?
Th Full Moon Pub in Hurst Green!! He came in the bar while i was having a natter to a feller i know.

Did he ? He's a very popular Santa around this neck of the woods - real white curly beard as well. He turns up at a number of local schools. My grandkids go to Lightwoods and saw him last year. About a week later we were shopping in Asda and there he was- buying Pot Noodle - still in his Santa gear. He told the them that Mrs Christmas hadn't done him any lunch that day.

Lightwoods? Is that what they call Castle Road nowadays?
We used to play them at football when i was at Good Shepherd.
I think Mrs Christmas ought to wash his suit cos the one in The Full Moon didn't smell that fresh!!

It's called Lightwoods - it used to be called Castle Road in the very early days. We celebrated it's centenary in 2008 along with St Hilda's church. All the kids were dressed in Edwardian gear - and we had a fairground in the school. I'll have a word about his suit if I bump into him.

Santa still comes down our road every year on his sleigh, with buckets jangling!
And i track santa on the satellite, kids get fed up after 5 and I sit there for hours watching it

My cousin took her daughter to see him yesterday, bit early me thinks!!
We will be off on the Santa Steam Train a little bit closer to the time (Severn Valley) Kids getting a bit old now, but i drag them along. Its lovely and traditional and about 20 of the family go, its become a tradition!

Thats really sad Mark.

I love that its not so in your face as some of them. its not just a cash making venture and not all fancies and frills
